Trio 4K going crazy

Take the batteries out and if so then

stop, press each individual key a couple of times, something must be stuck.

In the worst case, buy a new remote control or disassemble and check.

then the remote control is probably defective.

Try to flash an image online, but on reboot after flashing, cut off the network to the box.

I think your nox is hijacked over the LAN connection. You’ve probably forwarded ports to your box in order to control it from the outside. Unfortunally everybody else can do the same! Simply remove the LAN connector to see if the problem disappears… If it does: use VPN to access your box from outside your network.. And off course.. remove the port forwarding in your router..

When your remote control shows a signal on your oscilloscope, it does not mean that its digital signal correct. It is not probably that that your Box is hijacked. What would be the sense for a Hijacker to attack the box or do you store sensible Data on it? The only result of such an action would be your attention which a Hijacker only want after he had success in blocking sensitive data of your PC,

Try the following

• Place a new Battery in the remote control.
• If no success, flashes a new Image.
• If no success, buy a new remote control
• If no success, I think a new Box is cheaper than repair.

How exactly does the problem manifest itself? Are the transmitters switched through, volume up and down, menu calls made when the trio has an LED for the FB, does it light up?

They don’t want to store data but use your tuner to stream channels for free….. Happens quite a lot over here…
